Complete Curriculum Kits(all subjects) for K-12
A Beka Book has a complete academic program for nursery through grade 12. Accredited and non-accredited options. Traditional text and materials, lesson plans, teacher guides as well as a DVD program.
Materials are for grades K-12 and allow you to select the program that will work best for your student and your family. There are consumable workbooks for kindergarten through the sixth grade. This is good thing for students who have trouble copying problems accurately but who understand how to work the problem. High School
Provides quality courswork for people wanting to earn a high school diploma, not a GED, from an accredited high school program. The School was founded in 1981 and is located in beautiful Orange Park, Florida. Since we observe a year-round calendar, students may begin and complete coursework and grade levels at their own pace and in the comfort of their own home or wherever their travels may take them.

Students participating in TeenPact will get behind the scenes to look at their state government works and get a glimpse of what goes on "behind the marble steps". A new sports program available for homeschooling students ages 12-18 in the Columbus/Phenix City area. Participation is organized through Golden Acres Christian School (GACS) in Phenix City. Sports are offered for boys and girls. Costs and equipment vary by sport. Teams compete against other area Christian schools. Some travel required. Other supporting activites available ( like pep rallies). Go Lions!

Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed
Christian Home Education Fellowship of Alabama was founded in 1988 to serve all home educators in Alabama by providing information, services, and resources from a Christian perspective to anyone who needs help in the area of home schooling.While we do not limit our services to Christians, our approach is decidedly from the Christian perspective.
The Georgia Home Educators Association will serve and assist any home schooling family or support group in Georgia, however, GHEA is a Christian organization and the counsel and direction of the organization will be Christian. Special membership benefits available.
Established in 1997, HEIR (Home Education Information Resource)is a statewide, non-partisan, non-sectarian, volunteer-only organization working to ensure that the people of Georgia and their government recognize home study, freely practiced in its diverse forms, as a legitimate choice and value it as a positive force for improving the quality of education. Oxbow Meadows is a nature discovery center located on 1,600 acres of hardwood wetland habitat in Columbus, Georgia. Nestled in a bend of the Chattahoochee River, it is a place where nature can be itself. Two nature trails wind between ponds, allowing visitors to view native flora & fauna. The center is a hands-on interpretive facility that focuses on the natural & cultural history of the region. National Home Education Network- NHEN is a volunteer organization. All of the projects center around three specific objectives:Provide information to homeschoolers individually and through local/state groups, make it easier for homeschoolers to network together, promote public relations on a national level.
Don McCabe is the Research Director of AVKO Dyslexia & Spelling Research Foundation. Read his short biography, or better yet, his autobiography, To Teach a Dyslexic in which he describes what it was in his life that enabled him, a dyslexic, to not only learn to read but to learn how to teach other dyslexics. This book is free with membership in the AVKO Foundation.
Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic provides educational materials in recorded format. these may include textbooks or other materials. They will also record books for you upon request. There is a membership fee, and special players may need to be purchased.
Handwriting Without Tears offers an approach to teaching handwriting beginning in preschool and continuing through 5th grade. Developed by an occupational therapist, it teaches handwriting in a fun and creative way.
