Welcome to Movies as Literature!

Movies as Literature is a curriculum written by Richard and Kathryn Stout. We are forming a group to use this curriculum as a guide for learning literary concepts through watching great classic movies together. Each month we will meet to view one of the movies from our list. After viewing the movie, students will discuss various literary topics demonstrated in the film. Students may purchase workbooks to be able to complete additional assignments. Below is a list of movies we'll view during the 2011-2012 school year. Location: Home of Windy Morris. 4900 22nd Ave. Phenix City, AL. Dates: Second Thursday of each month beginning in November from 3-6 pm.
