Book Study: Watership Down - Grades 9-12 Daniel Griswell
Richard Adams takes both a realistic and satirical look at human relationships in the form of a tribe of vagabond rabbits. More than just an adventure towards survival, Watership Down shows the joys, tragedies, bravery, cowardice, love and anger that reside inside each and every one of us. As we travel alongside Hazel's warren of rabbits, we will compare the companions and situations they encounter to current events and people. We will also discover the personality inside each of us through thought-provoking discussions and sociological quizzes and evaluations for each student. Want to know why you think like you do, and why others always think a different way? We'll find out! (And have a lot of fun doing it!) Students must acquire a copy of Richard Adams' novel "Watership Down", and be willing to read the book.
